Lifecore R100 Maintenance And Troubleshooting

Your Lifecore R100 has been designed using only the best quality and strongest materials to give you many years of trouble-free use. In order to minimize the possibility of anything going wrong it is essential to look after this piece of innovative exercise equipment. Hence the following points are important for you to keep in mind.

Maintenance and Care

Ensure that you never use or store your Lifecore R100 in a damp or wet area. It must only ever be operated indoors in a dry setting.

Perspiration can be corrosive and hence it is essential that you wipe the rower down with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Do not use abrasives or chemicals as these can damage the finish on the Lifecore R100.

Before each workout be sure to quickly do a safety check to confirm that there are no obvious problems.

Be sure that the maximum user weight of 600 pounds is not exceeded as this will not only void the warranty, but could also cause damage to the rower.

Troubleshooting

Sounds From Seat

If you hear a knocking or clicking sound coming from the seat then check to see if there are any cracks in the wheels that run along the seat rail.

Problems With Display

Confirm that the AC power adaptor is securely plugged in and turned on at the wall socket if you are having problems with the display not working.

Resistance Problems

If your Lifecore R100 has no resistance at all or the resistance is excessively high then check that the cable is firmly connected to the computer. You should be able to see the SPM, meter strokes and watts settings on the LCD display. If you cannot see these displayed and you have checked all of the cable connections then it is time to call the authorized dealer for assistance.

Computer Errors

If ‘Error 1’ or ‘Error 2’ is displayed on the screen then try to reboot the computer. Do this by disconnecting the power supply for about 15 seconds and then reconnecting the power. This should fix the problem in most cases. If the problem persists then contact your dealer for service.
